pink roses....

I've tried out a different recipe this time....sponge cake. The cake turned out good... (can't wait to use this recipe again for my next bake). Anyways, I tried out the pink roses that I made previously on this cake....just for my practice.

chocolate cake + chocolate ganache

Made this tonight for a friend's teenage daughter. The chocolate ganache is a lot of work...and it's messy too! This is my first time trying this out and it is quite hard to get the chocolate to cover the cake smoothly. Hehe...I started to prepare the cake to decorate it from 8pm until 1am ( I didn't think it was going to take such a long time to get it almost right!).

Cupcakes...an introduction

Hi! I've been toying with the idea of baking and selling cupcakes for a very long time but I've never seem to actually do it. Recently, I started to bake for a friend and find that I love every bit of it....from baking to decorating it.
