I've been planning to make this for quite some time, but never came around to really do it. I've started preparing the birds about a week ago, and baked the cake this week. So, today's is my niece birthday, and I managed to get these assemble for her.

A hantaran cake for a wedding reception in Gurun, last weekend. The theme is gold, so the red roses actually have a light touch of gold dust on each petals, and the wooden box were tied with a gold ribbon.
